5th International Conference on Computer Processing of Turkic Languages ​​TurkLang’2017

The participants recognize the high scientific and practical level of the conference TurkLang’2017 and note positive trends in terms of integrating scientific research and applied developments in the field of computer processing of Turkic languages. This is an important factor for the preservation and development of Turkic languages ​​and cultures. Continuing the traditions and basing on the accumulated experience over the past five years, the organizers and participants of the conference will continue working on transforming the conference site into a space for coordinated linguistic research and for contributing to the development of linguistic resources and effective systems and technologies for processing Turkic languages.

We suggest to:

1) use the site of TurkLang as a center for information exchange on the topics of the conference. To this end, it is necessary to expand the structure of the site, with the preservation of current information about conferences, developments and commercially available products for the Turkic languages;

2) place information resources for Turkic languages ​​(databases, terminological and explanatory dictionaries, thesauri) and software tools for processing Turkic languages ​​(morphological and syntactic analyzers, other utilities) in the single center under the auspices of the TurkLang conference. Provide general information about commercially available products;

3) consider TurkLang conferences as a venue for holding round tables and discussing joint projects on computer processing of Turkic languages.

4) continue the work on the unification of annotation systems in electronic corpora of Turkic languages. As a tool for joint work on the unification of annotation systems in electronic corpora of Turkic languages, use the multifunctional multilingual Internet service based on the model of the Turkic morpheme. Create an instruction for working with the multifunctional Internet service.
